Ran Lahav received his PhD in philosophy and Master's in psychology from the University of Michigan. For the past three decades he has been internationally active in the philosophical practice movement and in developing new forms of contemplative philosophy. He is the founder and leader of the Deep Philosophy Group which offers philosophical-contemplative activities to people around the world. He lives in rural Vermont, USA.
