The waters of Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland, Florida, have provided much for the inhabitants of the area over the decades. From the early days of the first pioneers in the region through to the students of Florida Southern College, the lake has drawn people to its shores and become a focal point to the residents in the surrounding community.
