The Lake Wales Ridge National Wildlife Refuge is a unit of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex and is administered by and co-managed with Pelican Island and Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuges, colloquially termed the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge.
