Lalo Moves to the City Lalo is from the breed of dogs known as Weimaraners. In the early 19th century this breed was used by royalty for hunting boar, bear, and deer. Lalo was a rescue from a Dog Shelter in Rhode Island and came to live in Pelham Massachusetts. Lalo has had many adventures since then and this book, as well as others to come, talk about how he overcomes many of life's little dramas. These adventures can serve as an example for children experiencing changes in their lives. "Lalo moves to the City," addresses the difficulty of leaving something very familiar and going to place that is new and unknown.
