Tom Christensen has translated the works of Carlos Fuentes, Alejo Carpentier, and Julio Cortázar, among others. His translation of Ballets Without Music, Without Dancers, Without Anything by Louis-Ferdinand Céline was a finalist for the PEN America West Translation Award.
