The last yacht Anne Marie, a modern ketch outfitted for undersea archaeology, became overtaken by a hurricane somewhere west of Bermuda. The owner, his twenty-two year old daughter and her fiance were all presumed lost at sea. Totally lost they were not. Connie Shaw was washed overboard in the storm; rescued not by the US Navy, but by a British Navy Frigate in the year 1777. This first voyage of the last Anne Marie commenced with a frantic search of empty ocean for lost Connie, followed by the yacht's return to her home port, not today but in 1777, the pivotal year of the American Revolutionary War.
