The church may be strengthened in a variety of ways by the membership. Some of these ways are quite obvious, while others may be, as the country folk say, ""plowing new ground."" However, we must never lose sight of this fact: the church must be strengthened. Is strengthening the church not the job for the pastor and the ministering staff? Yes, but the entire congregation is to take part, as well. The church may be strengthened through the simple act of gathering to worship; by exercising and deepening our faith; or by worshiping God with out alabaster jar. Each member has both the privilege and the responsibility to strengthen the church through several ways discussed herein. With each one working together, with each one doing his or her part, empowered by the Holy Spirit, the church will definitely be strengthened. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
