Dr. Pamela Straker, a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist, has more than 25 years experience as a mental health and management professional. She has served on numerous boards, has appeared on numerous television and radio programs, and has been a member of the International Coaching. In 2006 she received the Brooklyn Borough President’s Dr. Susan Smith McKinney Humanatarian Award.
Dr. Straker holds master’s and doctoral degrees in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University and achieved alumna status at Columbia University’s Executive Level Institute for Not-for-Profit Management. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Rochester.
Currently Dr. Straker lives in Brooklyn where she works as a consultant to the Psychology Department of Yale University, the Office of Special Programs for the City University of New York, and provides evaluation and psychotherapeutic services to applicants for Metropolitan Transit Authority special transportation and nursing homes.
