Coming from the mouth of well worldly experienced woman who's been down that road and lived through bankruptcy and divorce, and is here to tell the tale, these words aim to be the grain and the salt of her childrens' wisdom. Any mother would be well advised to read this with her own daughters. Her natural writing style will carry you across the pages as you think and rethink whatever you may about the author, the wording, or the philosophy implied by it, but one needs only remind themselves that this is a personal message from a mother to her daughters that has been turned into a public project. The idea that "This could happen to anyone," is infectious and it shouldn't be anyone's bible (as even the author advises her audience), but it wouldn't hurt to realize something one could take away from it all. Wildly blunt and as honest as can be, one shouldn't regret taking a detour from their reading list and giving this voyeuristic new author a chance. It is and isn't what you expect.
