E. Cabell Hankinson Gathman holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she has taught in the Department of Sociology and the Department of Gender and Women's Studies. Dr. Gathman's research and teaching interests include communication and information technologies, the sociology of science and technology, and sexualities.
