Notă biografică
Reuben Kaye is a multi-award-winning comedian, singer, writer, and cabaret icon, originally from Australia. On stage, his insatiable energy, razor-sharp wit, unabashed political satire, and colossal vocals make him an unforgettable force of nature. Whether in a vast theatre or intimate cabaret venue, his performance is always of epic proportions.
Throughout his career, he has made a significant impact on the UK cabaret scene as one of the most formidable and in-demand comperes. His award-winning touring cabaret shows, The Butch is Back, The Kaye Hole, Live and Intimidating, among many others, have won him a litany of awards including an Off West End (Offie) for Best Cabaret in London, Australian Green Room Awards for Best Artist and Best Cabaret Production, and the Adelaide Fringe Award for Best Cabaret. He has also made the crossover from stage to screen, with appearances on television shows in the UK (You're Fired, Channel 4 Short "Kids React to Drag") and Australia (Melbourne International Comedy Fest Galas, Celebrity Letters and Numbers). He also hosts his own successful comedy podcast, Come To Daddy, interviewing some of the UKs most prominent comedians.
