A catastrophic magnitude 7.0 earthquake ravishes the country, killing hundreds of thousands, leaving behind a trail of misery. Amidst her walk to finding her destiny, she must battle her way through the pitfalls of the sudden social downturn of her home country. Forced to abandon her culture, Lina embarks on a tour throughout the Dominican Republic and United States, being led by life's circumstances, which later prove to have a greater purpose. Exploring the United States teaches her a few lessons about life, people, and most importantly, drew her closer to God. As she settles in America, she soon finds out that things are not always as they appear. Intrigued by the mystery surrounding the encounter with her soon to be husband, Lina invites him into her life and lets fate shape the course of their future.
