Author Lillian Aragonés: Is a retired award-winning educator of the public school system of New Jersey. She's created and implemented training sessions on Holocaust/ Tolerance Education for educators and students in the elementary levels and consulted on such for the NJ State Department of Education and Public and Private Schools and Universities statewide.

She is the Founder/Group Leader of The Union County Fibromyalgia Support Connection, a support group she runs with the help of her members, Mercy Quiñones and Denise Tekula. She has become involved in advocating for FM through her paintings, writing and photography. She has attended several statewide events on FM, most recently in Trenton where the State Senate signed a Resolution for FM Awareness.
She also initiated the signing of a Proclamation by New Jersey State Governor, Jon Corzine in recognition of FM Awareness and is working with a fellow support group leader, Jodie Stewart, of Gloucester County, and Advocacy groups to form the NJ FM Support Group Leader's Alliance.

She is an artist, photographer and writer. The photography in this book is her own. As an effort to re-invent herself she has taken up her painting and photography and has written these poems and reflections which are accompanied by her photo-graphy throughout.

The poems written in this book are of the transitions, emotions and reflections the author has recorded through the period of her having to re-invent herself due to her disabling illness, recent divorce and finding her inner strength.

She is currently working on a book, A Photographic Journal of Fibromyalgia: Making it Visible. This project will take some time to accomplish, but will be a labor of love.
