Shakila Abdul Manan is Associate Professor of English Language Studies at the School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her recent publications include "Going Against the Grain: Postcolonial Writings and Creative Performances in Malaysia in Kunapipi: Journal of Postcolonial Writings (2010, University of Wollonggong Press) and two co-edited books Exploring Space: Trends in Literature, Linguistics and Translation (2008, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, United Kingdom) and Higher Education in the Asia-Pacific: Emerging Trends in Teaching and Learning (2008, Universiti Sains Malaysia Press). Hajar Abdul Rahim is Associate Professor of linguistics at the School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her recent publications include 'Corpora in ESL/EFL Teaching', in English in Multicultural Malaysia: Pedagogy and Applied Research (2012, University of Malaya Press), and 'The Evolution of Malaysian English: Influences from Within', in Exploring Space: Trends in Literature, Linguistics and Translation (2008, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, United Kingdom).
