From owning an advertising agency to helping people re-market themselves after being laid off, to working as the Director of Communications for a large Episcopal Church, Nanette says all of her work is about "finding creative solutions for today's dog-eat-dog world." At one time, she was "Mom" to more than 150 refugees known as "The Lost Boys of Sudan." She currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband and a myriad of rescued pets including, but not limited to chickens, dogs, cats, cockatoos, and a horse. Her extracurricular activities also include Krav Maga (Israel's hand-to-hand combat system), firearms training, and reading thrillers/mysteries. She hails from Los Angeles, California, where she was a graduate of UCLA. She has never met a chocolate chip cookie she did not like.
