The author, KK Smith, was inspired to put together these inspirational quotes, as she was in the process of writing her originally 1st book, The Faithful Hairstylist. As an avid reader herself, she frequently thought of penning her own book, but never had the gall to do so. However, early 2015 her mother advised her to do so. KK decided to put this book out 1st and dedicate it to victims of domestic violence. Alongside loving to read, she also loves her family, GOD, singing, dancing, and styling hair.
