Jeffery A. Jenkins is associate professor in the Woodrow Wilson Department of Politics at the University of Virginia and the author of two forthcoming books: Fighting for the Speakership and Analyzing Parties. Eric M. Patashnik is the Julis-Rabinowitz Professor of Public Policy and Political Science at Brown University. He is the author or editor of several books, including Reforms at Risk.
