Dana Frank is Professor of History at UC Santa Cruz. She is the author of Buy American: The Untold Story of Economic Nationalism and Three Strikes: Miners, Musicians, Salesgirls and the Fighting Spirit of the Last Century, co-authored by Howard Zinn. She has published essays in the Washington Post, SF Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News and The Nation.
