Looking for Mommy chronicles the adventures of E & B who live on a farm and don't know who or where their mother is. E & B set out on a quest to find her. They ask for help from every animal they meet, but none are much help. The young reader learns some facts about animals and farms. And there is a bit of a surprise at the end. The book is enjoyable for the child and the parent.
