Computer Accounting with QuickBooks Online: A Cloud-Based Approach 4e allows you to teach the latest concepts of QuickBooks in an online environment, making the cloud software accessible from the internet and from web browsers instead of your computer's hard drive. Students have access to their data anytime, anywhere with a PC, Mac, tablet, or smartphone. Cloud software is always accessible, up-to-date and has similar features to QuickBooks Desktop or other accounting software installed locally on computers. QuickBooks Online provides a familiar internet-designed user interface for students to grasp accounting concepts while honing cloud computing skills. With a one-year subscription to QuickBooks Online Plus, students set up three companies, enter transactions, track income, expenses, customers, sales, create reports, and more. Students learn about the connection between the software, the general ledger system, and the accounting cycle, ensuring student preparedness post-graduation.
