Louis in the Hall

Sometimes, while all the other third graders are in the classroom, Louis has to sit at a desk in the hallway to do his work. It‛s not because he‛s a bad kid or anything, but because he has special behavioral needs.

Louis has what grown-ups call "Tourette syndrome" and "obsessive-compulsive disorder." These are big words that mean, every once in a while, he has outbursts and does stuff that may distract the other students while they‛re trying to learn.
