She said to me one day, "Mama, I wish everyone could be happy all the time, like at Christmas time." I asked her what she thought we could do to make people happy. In the end her classmates feel terrible for what they said and decide to make her Love Tokens. This book teaches unconditional love which we see between Peggy and her mother, and also the value of accepting people for who they are.
