The Utah Informer St. George, Utah May 25, 2013 Written by Peter Smith Gunlock State Park--- It's happened again People have gone missing in Gunlock. Sage Balatche and Shaylyn Robertson have disappeared. The search continued this morning in the Gunlock area. Washington County Sheriff's deputies along with Search and Rescue. They are proceeding with a grid search, but have found no signs of either Mr. Balatche or Miss Robertson. Mr. Balatche's semi- truck was found in the Gunlock State Park day fee parking area with a flat tire to the right front of the cab. Miss Robertson's car was found on Highway 91 in a turnoff. It's unknown at this point if anything is wrong with Miss Robertson's car. It has been towed to police impound to look for any information, that might give her whereabouts. It's unknown if the two are together. Whisperings from the Salish band of Paiute Indians about the location of a passage way to the unknown, where others have seemingly gone missing, were told to me upon my search for this story. The handed down stories might not be a tall tale after all.
