She was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to Scottish food by the National Farmers' Union and the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland in 2011. Claire has used her wealth of knowledge from these experiences to author the Pitkin title Scottish Cookery.
