»Power and the Legal Method. Limits of Competence of the Federal Constitutional Court in the Course of Time«: Based on the growing political importance of the Federal Constitutional Court, the work examines the constitutional limits of the court. In doing so, the decisive role of norm binding for the court's decision-making competence becomes clear. Sufficient norm binding can only be achieved through a method of interpretation that takes the will of the norm maker seriously. The work shows how such a constitutional method can endure in practice.
