Peachtree Street Church has slowly been dwindling away as it members have died. Notă biografică

Allen Madding is a follower of The Way, author, grant writer, blogger, guitar player, Harley Davidson motorcycle rider, hiker, traveler, Atlanta Braves and Dallas Cowboys fan, and an information technology professional who lives with his wife Allison in St. Petersburg, Florida. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Business Administration - Management Information Systems and Keller Graduate School of DeVry University with a Masters of Business Administration, he grew up in rural South Georgia where he developed a love for hunting, fishing, and racing cars. He raced short track stock cars for nine years while operating a local computer store in his hometown. He moved to Atlanta in 2000 taking a full-time job in Information Technology management, and began writing weekly contributions for Speedway Media and then Insider Racing News. An advocate for families, children, the hungry and the homeless, he has actively supported Habitat for Humanity participating in over 14 home builds. After a short-term mission trip to Venezuela in 2011, he became keenly aware of the level of hunger in his community and began seeking a way to contribute. Allen and Allison launched Feed the Hungry Forsyth, Inc., a nonprofit food rescue organization in Cumming, Georgia, in December 2011 to collect unsold food from area restaurants and delivering to community food pantries.
