Fra Angelico's Virgin gazes with a sweet look at her child on Galison's Perugia Mother and Child Christmas cards. The image is a detail of the central panel of the artist's Perugia Altarpiece, painted in tempera and gold on panel in 1447-48. It is now in the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria, Perugia.
