Frieda Wishinsky is the author of many children's books, including So Long Stinky Queen, No Frogs for Dinner, Jennifer Jones Won't Leave Me Alone, The Man Who Made Parks, Oonga Boonga, and Nothing Scares Us. In 1999, Frieda was shortlisted for a Govenor General's Award for Each One Special. Frieda Wishinsky was born and raised in New York City, and educated at NYCU and Yeshiva University in Isreal, where she earned degrees in science and history. She now lives in Toronto, Ontario.
Dean Griffiths is an award-winning children’s book illustrator with over 20 published books to date including Give Maggie a Chance and Maggie Can’t Wait. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
