As a young man, Michael Chambers arrived in Australia from New Zealand intent on finding the Outback. A decade later, and with a growing family, he embarked on a successful career with BHP, before settling in Darwin. He spent a few years working with Yol¿u communities in Arnhem Land and owned several iconic fishing tackle shops aptly named "Happy Micks."Retired in Mildura, on the Murray River, he is surrounded by five children and eleven grandchildren.This is his second book, a prequel to WALKING AMONG THE STARS.He writes most days.
