Man of Many Passions

en Limba Engleză Paperback
Rustum, a practising Barrister in London, meets a French visitor Francoise at the Bar of Blue Angel in Knightsbridge. During their brief meeting, Francoise challenges Rustum to a session of Kama Sutra if their paths cross again. Rustum buys and manages a coffee plantation near Kilimanjaro in the land of his birth. Out of the blue, Francoise self-invites herself to spend a month of continuous Kama Sutra sex with Rustum, departs happily, then severs all contact on reaching Paris. As he struggles to restore some normalcy to his life, Rustum is further destabilised when Francoise sends him a photo of a baby boy with a DNA Certificate naming him as the father, but warning him not to contact her or their son Jehan. On a business trip to Nairobi, Rustum meets American Doctor Susan, they get married, and Rustum builds a hospital for her on the plantation to continue her medical profession. When their son Raman is six, Rustum and Susan take him to Disneyland, Paris. They decide to have late breakfast at a Cafe on Champs Elysee, find all tables occupied, except one for six which has three seats occupied by a couple and a young boy. The couple invite them to share their table. As they sit down, Raman and the woman recognise each other, but keep it a secret. As the couple leave, the woman discretely gives a card to Rustum. Rustum excuses himself to visit the toilet. The card is from Francoise with her address. At the earliest opportunity, Rustum meets Francoise for several hours of intimacy, and finds himself in the vortex of lust for Francoise and love for Susan as he struggles to make a safe landing and live a tranquil life without losing either."
