In recent years and as a result of the restructuring of economic and social processes in the world, including public and private organizations, prospective strategic planning has taken a new direction in its conception, due to the internationalization of productive processes, greater emphasis on long-term planning, the emergence of social movements that increasingly request their participation in decision-making, more decentralized governments in terms of public policies aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and better strategic positioning in world markets. With the intention of consolidating efforts towards the construction of a proposal for a sustainable future for countries such as Chile, Argentina, Ecuador and Venezuela, involving regional or territorial spaces as well as public and private organizations through the Strategic Prospective Analysis, which should be supported by theoretical and conceptual aspects associated with the application of methods in strategic foresight.
