Notă biografică
THOMAS A. HANNIGAN has been a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 134, for more than 40 years. Starting as an apprentice and moving up to journeyman electrician, steward, foreman, and, at the international union level, to Director of the Research and Education Department to Executive Assistant to the International Secretary. He served on various commissions under Presidents Johnson, Nixon, and culminating with President Carter's appointment to the U.S. Metric Board. He is currently a member of the Industrial Relations Research Association and the Society for Human Resource Management. His many lectures include: Notre Dame University, the U.S. Naval Academy, the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the U.S. Senior Executive Service.
