en Limba Engleză Paperback – 4 noi 2019
The book of Exodus 15:22-27 depicts a clear picture of hopeless people. In this stanza, Moses led the people of Israel from the red sea into the desert of Shur. Thes are both extremes! The people have just awakening from shock while facing the Egyptian army in from of the red sea. Now almost immediately they are now venturing into the desert. For three days they walked through the desert, but found no water. 'Then they came to a place called Marah, but the water there was so bitter that they could not drink it. That is why it was named Marah. They complained to Moses and asked, 'What are we going to drink? Moses prayed earnestly to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood, which he threw into the water; and the water became fit to drink. In verse 27, 'Next they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees; there they encamped by the water. This is what has brought about my topic; "Marah today, Elim tomorrow."The name Marah means bitter. Elim is the opposite of Marah which is means Sweet. Psalm 30 verse 5 'Tears may flow in the night, but joy comes in the morning.'Job 5:11, 'yes, it is God who raises the humble and gives joy to all who mourn.'
