Marine Scientific Research, New Marine Technologies and the Law of the Sea offers legal insights from international scholars based in Asia, Europe, and North America on existing and evolving legal regimes for marine scientific research and marine technology under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. Topics covered include marine scientific research in disputed areas, unmanned and autonomous merchant ships, floating nuclear power plants, and marine genetic resources.
