Marx's 'Capital'
Autor Ben Fine, Alfredo Saad-Filhoen Limba Engleză Paperback – 19 iul 2016
This brilliantly concise book has established itself over twenty-five years and five editions as the standard companion to Karl Marx’s most important work, the sprawling Capital. This new edition retains the features that have made it a crucial teaching tool—a clear explanation of the structure of Marx’s analysis, an exploration of his method and terminology, and the significance of his central concepts—while also bringing it fully up to date with the latest scholarship and a clearly written analysis of the continuing relevance of Capital to today’s ongoing discussions of politics, economics, and the struggles of capitalism.

Recenzii
"Saad-Filho and Fine have an excellent track record of interpreting Marx in a clear and non-dogmatic style. That this book is in its sixth edition is testimony to its quality. Rather than provide a cookbook that contains multiple examples of what Marx says, Marx's 'Capital' pays close attention to explaining Marx's method, making his work much more understandable and much more valuable. This approach makes the subject far more enjoyable to read than a collection of statements of what Marx really meant. The contextual analysis makes Marx far more easy to read and better to appreciate once a reader sees how Marx built his work up in an effort to clearly understand how the world around him was developing. In short, this book is highly recommended for librarians and for readers in general."
"Revised sixth edition provides an exposition of Karl Marx’s political economy, reviewing and explaining the key elements of his critique of capitalism as a system."
“This expert guide to the political economy of Marx’s Capital has always been the very best available. . . . It is thoroughly recommended not only for beginners but to anyone interested in the applicability of Marxian theory to the parlous condition of contemporary capitalism.”
