Sam Ray and his parents, Hal and Sharon, left the familiar surroundings of their beloved Earth to join an American research team on the moon. Though a former penal colony, the Moon now boasts a robust community of highly trained scientists thanks to Moon Grants which allowed them to explore the unknown riches of its surface.
