MACKIE SHILSTONE is a special advisor to the United States Olympic Committee on Sports Nutrition, a consultant to Major League Baseball, and Executive Director of the Mackie Shilstone Center for Performance Enhancement and Lifestyle Management at the Elmwood Fitness Center, a division of the Ochsner Clinic Foundation. He has appeared on the Today show, Good Morning America, CNN, 48 Hours, ESPN, and HBO. Shilstone has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, USA Today, and Sports Illustrated. He hosts two daily features on WWL radio, a 50,000–watt station in New Orleans, and owns four GNC franchises in Louisiana.
