A field program designed to measure the ambient concentration of SO2, as well as pertinent meteorological parameters was conducted during the summer of 1993. Three sections were established in the EPA Class I area of Breton Refuge and the Class II Delta Wildlife Refuge near the mouth of the Mississippi River.
