Recenzii

So much of what today's students learn about the world around them comes from mass media. Students can learn and practice the skills necessary to critically evaluate the messages through easily duplicated exercises in this book. Although recommended for grades 4 through 8, lessons can be adapted for older students. Some of the exercises will engage students more than others; some are reproducible pages that go along with a previous lesson. Nevertheless, for teachers looking for easily reproducible lessons that will teach students to be more critical users of the various media that bombard their senses daily, this title offers some worthwhile suggestions.
