For purposes of learning names, the parent teacher must know the names and then write them on the line on the pages. Also, the names of the animals in the book are listed in the back cover. Your child can draw on the pages, doodle or trace the outlines already there. The child can also color in the animal figures and draw and color in around them. Upon opening the book there is one figure in white for coloring. On the next page there is a sample picture. Both images before and after coloring or drawing, can be cut-out and played with Did you ever play with paper images when you were a child? I did. It was fun. And I still remember these wonderful experiences. And this is one way in which I developed my imagination. I am of the opinion, that this will encourage your child's imagination tremendously. The paper cut-outs can also be used to create art by gluing and attaching to other things. It can be used in a collage. And it can be used for creating scrapbooks. As such, your child's art can become a forever keepsake and experience. The pages in the book can also be cut out and hung. Or the book can be kept intact. Your choice.
