Memento Mori—latin for “Remember you will die”—is often paired with Memento Vivere—“remember to live.”  

These 36 cards are daily affirmations and reminders that we do not have control over our fate, and they are meant as life-affirming messages that we must seize the day and live each moment to its fullest. We can die today, tomorrow, or 80 years from now—it’s not up to us. The only thing we can be sure of is that it will happen. When we accept this fact, then we can fully embrace the moment we are in.
