His ability was recognized by his Government, who awarded him a scholarship to study Post Primary Methods in the London University Institute of Education in the United Kingdom. His 580 page thesis assisted the Government in the development of Modern Secondary Schools in Trinidad and Tobago. This is a story of a man who was respected by his peers as an exemplar par excellence in the many places where he served, succeeded, and soared. Dr. Khan was a God - fearing man and was ordained as a Presiding Elder in the Presbyterian Church In 1973. He preached many sermons and extracts from three such sermons have been appended in this book.
