Allyssa is an immigrant who likes to write. Her topics include family connection and love. She has written this story of love by family, but a stranger at the same time. She gets her inspiration from people she sees or from certain food she eats. Eda Erhan is a Graphic Designer/Illustrator who is passionate about bringing stories and ideas to life. She has previously contributed to professional works for children's books and graphic design. As a child, I used to read a lot. In my stories I use my experience and imagination to paint on my canvas with words. Rachel Torres is passionate about children's literature, and she loves to use her free time to write stories. She lives in Vancouver with her husband and son, but her stories are based in Brazil where she was born. Shijing Xiao is originally from China. She enjoys writing stories as they represent life in an alternative universe. By imagining and writing, she feels she can resist a sense of emptiness.
