Notă biografică

Joseph Randolph Bowers AKA Kisiku Sa'qawei Paq'tism completed a PhD Health Psychotherapy in Australia, and later a Doctor of Divinity in Clay Art Therapy. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity in Franciscan Spirituality. His Canadian studies began with a Bachelor of Arts in Spirituality and Philosophy, and later a Master of Education in Counselling. Joseph Randolph has accomplishments in music, poetry, painting, and ceramic art. There is little doubt that his professional work is prolific with over 250 works consisting of editorials, scholarly projects, and many books. His work is honoured in the collections of the Tepi'ketuek Mi'kmaw Archives founded by Professor Marie Battiste and the University of Saskatchewan, and in a Special Collection held by the Cape Breton University Mi'kmaq Resource Centre. Dr Bowers has been a long time Invited Scholar of the Centre for World Indigenous Studies. He is among the founders of the Australian Counselling profession and is an Honorary of the Australian Counselling Association, a clinical member of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine, and a Certified Registered Behaviour Support Specialist with the Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Commission.
