The migration of workers at the external borders of the EU and its effects on the labour markets has been an important topic for the European social partners for years. This collection gathers reports by experts from Spain, Italy, Malta, Romania, Poland, Estonia and Luxembourg which were presented in November 2007within the framework of a seminar in Catania/Italy. It finishes with a scientific comparative evaluation with recommendations for the educational work of trade unions and workers' organizations.
