ELLIS MOUNT, D.L.S., is president of Mount Data Services, Teaneck, New Jersey and editor of Sci-Tech News. Formerly, he was research scholar at Columbia University School of Library Service, New York, New York. He is a member of the Special Libraries Association (SLA), the American Society for Information Science, and the Association of Independent Information Professionals. He received the John Cotton Dana Award from SLA in 1984. In 1990, Dr. Mount was elected to the SLA Hall of Fame.BARBARA A. LIST, M.L.S., is director of Science and Engineering Libraries, Columbia University, New York, New York. Formerly, she was editor of New Technical Books and coordinator of collection development at the Research Libraries, Science and Technology Research Center, and The New York Public Library. She is a member of the Special Libraries Association and the American Library Association.
