Miranda Writes, Honor & Justice

Autor Frank Santorsola
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 6 ian 2018
New York Detective Frank Santorsola had an affinity for undercover work and soon found himself working deep cover, successfully infiltrating the Lucchese crime family under the cover name of Frank Miranda. Miranda is tasked to gather evidence in an international heroin-smuggling case of pure heroin from the Middle East into the New York metropolitan area. His informant, Mike Baraka, claimed he had been falsely arrested, indicted, and convicted for a crime he did not commit. He turns to the only person who believes him, Frank Miranda.Miranda develops a tabooed friendship with Baraka and realizes he will need to make choices that are uncomfortable, struggling between department expectations and what he believes is morally wrong. It's a surgical look into the very essence of the criminal justice system, exposing the corrupt nature of an institution and the political powers that run it. This is a gripping story of challenges, frustrations, anger and redemption.

Notă biografică

Frank Santorsola is one of a few men in law enforcement who was assigned to infiltrate the Italian mob and bring to justice some of the biggest names in organized crime. Not many men have the affinity to do such work, but he was able to successfully ingratiate himself in a role where he became relied upon and trusted by the very gangsters he was attempting to arrest. After years of undercover assignments, Frank was appointed as the Chief of Detectives for Westchester County District Attorney's Office in New York. He has since retired and enjoys writing books about his adventures as a 20 year member of law enforcement.
