Missouri: Impressions

Fotografii de Scott R. Avetta
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 31 dec 2007
Avetta presents 85 full-color photographs of this picturesque state in the heartland of America. The images convey the area's beauty and moods, with landscapes large and small, as well as lively city scenes. Old-timers and newcomers will see Missouri in original ways, as Avetta's photographs convey clear impressions of urban amenities, public attractions, and woodland scenes. Dramatic, vividly orange sky scenes of the sun dropping into the prairie are counterbalanced by pastel-colored sunrises and misty panoramas of tranquil waterways. The region's unique history provides a focal point throughout the book. Architecture, wildflowers, and unique rock formations round out the offerings. Informative captions complement the photographs, providing enough detail that even casual readers who simply browse through the photos will learn about Missouri's fascinating history and contemporary culture.
