Garfield A. Wray (Ian) is one of seven children to Frederick and Jollitee Grant-Wray. He is the father of two sons Roderick and Dominic . Although he was once a backslider, Ian loves and zealously serves The Lord God Almighty. He was ordained as a Minister at Greater Grace Temple (Shiloh) Apostolic Church, March 2001. Sadly, as a final year B.Sc Management studies student of the University of the West Indies, his Faith in God faced a very stern test. He had to take leave of absence on medical grounds as a result of his physical challenges and a 'scary' diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. Ian's Multiple Sclerosis Scare is a warm engaging memoir and a testimony to the reader with a medical diagnosis for which there is said to be no cure. 'IMS' fosters and encourages, Biblical faith and perseverance plus actions as, 'faith with works', since "faith without works is dead. 'IMS' shows that there is hope, as 'With God nothing shall be impossible. During the MS scare, Ian sought to provide companionship and hope from his experiences; to encourage the readers in whatever 'challenging situation' they face. He has learnt determination, perseverance and know that there is 'always', a way-Jesus. With God, nothing is impossible, Matt 19:26 He always provides the additional faith we need in His words (Rom 10: 17) and through the testimonies of other people. This book contains Ian's personal testimonies along his 'unconventional healing journey', It will give hope and encouragement to the readers. The period under consideration is, 'over thirty years, between 1980 and 2011' and contains many actual events, people and testimonies and is centered around his diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. Though modern medicine has no cure, his determination 'to be healed' lead him to 'Faith Healing" and perseverance to the end. This period covered is really eventful and shows Ian's introduction to Christian faith as a child and the ensuing years. His health failed to a state where he needed someone to assist him to get into a car and even to get in and out a wheelchair in those days. For a few years he couldn't even stand up by himself. After reading this book this reader will be challenged to hope when faced with mitigating circumstances.
