Caracteristici
1 This new text, from the authors of the best-selling Physical Chemistry: A Molecular Approach, takes the same innovative "quantum first" approach
2 Includes five short "MathChapters," each with a special set of problems that will help students review and summarise the mathematical tools required to master the material
3 Worked examples and chapter-ending problems with solutions are also included throughout the book

Descriere
Evolved from McQuarrie and Simon's best-selling Physical Chemistry: A Molecular Approach, this text follows a similar path by first covering the principles of quantum mechanics before engaging those ideas in the subsequent development of thermodynamics. Although many of the chapters are similar to those in the physical chemistry text, new material has been added throughout along with three entirely new chapters.
